Speeding Up Your PC.

There are a lot of people that have been asking questions all over the web about how to speed up and optimize thier PC. Those questions made me do a lot of research and I think I found a lot of things that can help. As you see in recent blog posts, usual errors and other issues come from errors and flaws in your system. All of that initially slowing you and your precious investment down.

The first thing that I found out was that if your PC hasn't been "cleaned out" you deffinitly should give it a whirl. Just use some second nature tasks that can help you get your data organized and not so messy. That in the long run can make a difference in speed.

Maybe its been a while since you have checked to see if you have some spy or adware. Use your current internet security service, i.e. Norton, AVG ect. to scan and see if you have anything, and from there eliminate it.

Still nothing? then here is the one thing that I found in my research, that proved to be an amazing find. http://www.boostyourpcspeed.com/ is an amazing site with tons of info and help with pointers, that will get you up and running in no time at all! I was looking at the site and saw that there are a lot of different big name companies that stand by it, and it makes you feel good to see that kind of service. Check it out, whats there to lose?

Windows Update Error 646

Have you been having an rough time straightening out “Windows Update Error 646" too? You may be also seeing “Windows Unknown Error 646”, which within reason is the same thing. Fortunately, there are some things that can help you solve this problem, and possibly other issues. Windows Update Error 646 is an update error that occurs when you are updating Windows Vista on your PC. People have said that there just isn’t any way to solve this, nothing can be done to correct the error. Yet there are some pretty simple steps and tips you can use to correct this nasty error.

First, try some easy-to-follow steps that will give you an idea as to how the error occurred in the first place. Sometimes errors can be pretty easy to panic over, but aren’t as bad as you think they are. The first step to try, is to find out what didn't update on your system after the error occured. These 5 steps will show you what to do.

1) Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button and clicking “All Programs”, then click “Windows Update” from there.
2) On the left side of the screen, you will see “View update history” click it.
3) Find an update that has failed to install, then double-click it to get more information. Updates that have not installed, or have yet to install will appear as “Failed” under “Status”, next to the update’s title.
4) Inside the “Windows Update” box, next to “Error details”, read over the error code for the stopped updates and get a list of the codes for the updates that failed to install.
5) Either follow the links in the “Windows Update” box under “More Information” or “Help and Support” to try and fix the problem Then try to install the updates again by using “Windows Update” in the “Control Panel”.

If the same problems continue to show up, try to go through "Windows Help and Support", and get more of an idea as far as knowing whats going on, it really helps you get more information on the issue and on whats happening with your PC.

My next advice is to save the work you have, and use a system restore to go back before the updates. How? These 6 steps will tell you.

1) Go to the “Start” menu.
2) Select the “All Programs” button and access it.
3) In the “All Programs" menu, go to the “Accessories” option.
4) Once you are in the “Accessories” menu, go to the “System Tools” option.
5) In the “System Tools" menu, you’ll find the icon for “System Restore”, the last available application.
6) Follow the instructions on what to do from there on out.
All software on your machine will be brought back to the time you chose, including your updates. Your PC will get re-booted too. After the restore, try the updates again.

You're a PC user, and one thing you will have to learn, is that at some point you're going to run into an error. When we use our machines we move and use data, remove and add programs, applications, and change them. Eventually our machines become slow and uneasy, and they develop misfires and disfuntional actions in programs and applications. All leading to update errors and system error messages.

In other words, Windows Update Error 646 is an update error that was created from a seperate and pre-existing error in your system. The simplist and fastest way to find out what happened is to trace your footsteps. As soon as you find the problems and or errors that caused the update error, you can fix it. Once you have successfully fixed that problem, you fix Windows Update Error 646.
